I’m a BC boy in North Vancouver and I’ve ridden my Prior boards exclusively for the last 7 years.

Had 2 custom 159 freeride boards made for me and a 169cm freecarving board. They all performed great for their intended use.

The two freeride boards have finally turned into noodles for years of use and I’ve finally caved in and bought a new snowboard… and it’s not a Prior.

From a suggestion from a friend of mine I picked up a Lib Tech Skate Banana and after speaking to people at The Boardroom it comes highly recommended. I’ll be trying it out this week at Cypress to see if it is really as good as the review but I wish I had it yesterday to try it on the 10cm of fresh at Whistler.

i’ve Prior Khyber for 3 years. Awesome board. Rides deep pow, trees, BUT on packed it vibrates too much… I have demoed Spearhead. All i can say is that is the best board i’ve tried in years and I’ve been riding it for over 15 years. I have just ordered one. Will tell you more when i try it in November in Siberia (yes in Russia)…

Of course – gotta support the local companies Allie!

However, there was a really cool exhibitor at the Vancouver Snow Show today – BitchBoards. They’re a San Diego company who design womens boards… the boards themselves aren’t anything special, but the designs are AWESOME. The designer/owner was even there… I practially begged her to make some mens boards, but sadly the answer was no.
