CYPRESS & WHISTLER BOARDING MOVIE (AND MALOLO REVIEW)
Believe it or not, this isn’t a Twilight blog. That being said, I’m super stoked about all the Team Jacob fans that are out there who checked out the pics yesterday. I can’t believe how cool the Twilight community is online! I’m a big Twilight fan, and hopefully we’ll get the chance to snap some more behind-the-scenes pics of the set… but for now, back to our regular programming!
I had some time last night to edit up a video from my day on my new Malolo board on Saturday at Whistler Blackcomb and also the last good powder day we had at Cypress. There’s a little more footage of me riding this time, and also I had to feature the rad shirt I got from Zac at Hybrid Sessions… so make sure you watch till the end of the vid. It’s pretty funny. It’s nearing the end of the snowboard season, and almost time to switch it up to surfing. I’m going to get one more weekend in at the end of April with the famous Miss Shay from Shayboarder at the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival in Whistler Blackcomb. Should be awesome.

I’ve been working hard at work this week to make sure I get my time in and all my work done before the Easter long weekend. Gotta leave for the ferry early on Thursday, and it’s off to my favourite spot in the whole world… Tofino! Surfing for 4 glorious blissful days. Too bad the forecast is rain all weekend, but that’s not going to stop me from getting excited about finally getting back in the water and making some turns.

I’ll have to check the video out at home later. Allie are you heading up to the TWSS Festival? We’re going to be there April 23rd to 26th! Looking forward to having media accreditation and seeing what sort of shots I can get.
Tofino is great during any weather I found. We went for like 4 nights and it rained/sun and foggy. Was cool, cant wait to go again!

Jealousy-inducing sweet video – that was indeed a lot of nice powder at Whistler! Definitely heading up to the top of that mountain next time I’m out there…
I did wince at the end though, although admittedly at watching your new board bend sharply at the ‘landing’ you ‘gracefully’ pulled off.

Very nice video as always though. Think I’m too tall to run through the 7th heaven tunnel thing like you did though.

@Rigoberto we did Flute Bowl the other day (saturday). We didn’t hike up the track run like everyone else, we entered midway. Was fun for my first time doing it nonetheless.

Yeah that picture is the furthest you can hike I think. Worst part was that we didn’t make it to the symphony chair (I think?) before it closed so we had to hike up some catwalk or wait 30 mins for ski patrol, it sort of sucked. It was still well worth the hike for sure. The first part of he hike on the cat track is the worst part, but once you get to the top of it its really flat and you can skate some of it.
