WHEN BEING AT HOME BRINGS THOUGHTS OF BEING ABROAD
I’ve spent the last 5 days or so laying in bed, taking it easy at home without leaving the house. Let’s just say for someone like me… I got pretty stircrazy!
I despise being sick, mostly because it keeps me from doing all the things that I love to do!
Short and sweet photo post today.. I wanted to share with you some of my photographs that I’ve taken while traveling abroad. Laying in bed made me dream of traveling again and everything I love about seeing new places.
Nice, France
Barcelona, Spain
Rural Japan
Seoul, Korea
New York
Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Lisbon, Portugal
I’ve plotted out all the places I’ve traveled so far on this map… still so many places I want to see!
Of course, nothing compares to home… and while I do love traveling, I will always be a Vancouver girl, a West Coast girl. Living on the West Coast… there really is no places like home…

Great shots as always, you should check out my blog/flickr for my new pictures.
Hope you’ll feel better soon, stuck at home sick isn’t fun especially when it’s so nice outside.

Y’know, it’s a testament to your skills with a camera (and having a kickass camera too) that your photos frequently make my instinct kick in of going ‘nah, that’s photoshopped… or is it?’

Finally made it to your blog. I’m impressed! Gorgeous photos and the way you describe things takes the reader into a different world!
I’m very interested in that map gadget you used to plot out all the places you’ve traveled, which is why I am commenting here because I wanted to ask what it is and where can one find it.

Wow ! You traveled a lot !
If you like Vancouver’s landscape, you can’t but love Ardèche’s one in France.
Green everywhere, forests, mountains, rivers… that’s Ardèche. (I was born here. But I prefer citys, haha)

I´m agree with you, there´s nothing like our home. But I note that you never have come to South América, why? I´m from Uruguay and my country is really, really wonderful. We have a lot of natural beachs and my people is really friendly… believe me you must come some day because I note that you have a lot of sensibility for the great and small beatiful things of life, your photos are a mirror of that. Excuse my poor english but I don´t use it usually.
